One of the biggest squares in Zagreb last night was occupied by more than a thousand white silhouette. Whole day people were trying to figure out their meaning , but still did not come to an answer.

It turned out that this is a great way to attract attention and send a striking message. Action Association of diffraction called ‘the former and the former – a break to remember’ for six months, during which time the consequences of smoking have died more than a thousand people. These silhouettes represent them.

The association “Ognjeni Mač” is engaged in making medieval armor, leather armor of the armored shirt until full armor. Also, the association is engaged in producing authentic medieval costumes and the production of safe “weapons” to play LARP (Live Action Role Playing ).

Recently I took first place in photo contest  Olympus TOUGH Challenge – Extreme Sports. Photos of bikers were shot two years ago in Zagreb @ Red Bull X-Fighters show. Here is winning photo and some of the entries.

Irena Škorić is a young film director and writer whose most recent film is based on Zagreb’s tram line no. 13, which follows an unlikely zigzag route through the city and for years has shared the fate of its citizens. The film was selected from among 65 international titles competing for the audience’s award at the ZagrebDox Film Festival. We asked Irena to share her thoughts with us about Zagreb.
